T-FREE041: Kaiza feat. amex - "PsyKo"

"PsyKo" is one of two tunes Kaiza has produced in early 2007,
which were the last finished projects before the Amex split,
in an intermedium stage between collaborations and solo tunes
(Amex did "additional production", i.e. he co-worked on details
after the tunes had already been written and arranged by Kaiza),
which had been labelled as regular Amex + Kaiza collaborations
for the sake of promoting the duo's name together back then.

Cyclone is a quite active newcomer from northern Germany.
He came from playing guitar to producing and deejaying
Drum & Bass around the millenium, and today he hosts a
bi-monthly event on two floors entitled "Hight Tension"
and a weekly webradioshow under the same flag. Also, he
has recently started his own netlabel "Anxiety Disorder".

Acid_Lab + Scale - "Fade Away"
Acid_Lab - "Dominator"
Acid_Lab - "Hardwired"

Like Isotop + Shots and The Phalanx, Acid_Lab
is a fresh talent from Palatinate in Germany.
He and his partner Scale shamelessly produce
very reduced tunes that resemble the sound of
No U-Turn and Saigon in 1996 and 1997, bringing
the oldschool Techstep style back to life today.
He has just released a checkworthy EP with four
such tunes on the infamous netlabel "Darkland".
And watch out for more of his tunes forthcoming
on a well known German Drum & Bass label...

Violentbreakz - "Exekutive"

Originally hailing from Palatinate, Violentbreakz
lives in Cologne and is part of the very respected
Quake-Inc crew who are holding one of the best
event series for technoid Drum & Bass in Germany.
He has just recently released 3 tunes digitally on
the famous Basswerk label: 2 tunes via Basswerk Files
and another one via the new sublabel B-Free.
There will surely be more in the future... Watch him!

T-FREE043: Stereotype - "Victory Or Death"

Stereotype is a newcomer from Chernigov (Ukraine).
So far, he has released tunes on quite some netlabels:
Cyclone's "Anxiety Disorder", Russian "Future 13"
and "Steklopaket Infinity", Italian "Subculture Digital"
and finally the very infamous "Darkland" imprint.
His productions are notably improving, he keeps producing
many tunes and more releases are scheduled: a digital EP on
"Mind Outside Recordings" and a tune on the CD compilation
"Forbidden Researches 2" of the well respected Ukrainian
label "Don't Panic Recordings", amongst others. He will
probably make himself a well known name in the Techno-DNB
scene, and T-FREE present his roller "Victory Or Death".

T-FREE044: kr4y - "Jerk"

kr4y, originally hailing from the Netherlands and currently living in Bristol (UK),
has been hugely influenced by Techno and House of the minimal and underground type
from his first steps in production at the tender age of 8 up to this very tune.
Having worked all his way from composing on the piano and sequencing in DOS trackers
to today's production technology, he has practically dedicated all his life to music.
Just recently, he and Arje have launched their Drum & Bass netlabel "Beat Addiction",
and now he shows his ideas and talent with this very, VERY technoid tune "Jerk".

T-FREE045: Asphexia - "Predeath"

Asphexia are a duo, consisting of Mikhail Tovkach
and Marina Tovkach (aka Faib) from Moscow, Russia.
They are brother and sister working together on
music in both deejaying and producing Drum & Bass
(also, Faib does produce Dubstep on a solo tip).
They recently had their debut on the HSMU netlabel
and "Predeath" is their second tune getting released.
They have collaborations going with quite a lot of
producers well known in the Techno-DNB scene, and
we will probably hear more of them in the future!

T-FREE046: Destination Unknown - "Killing Fields"

Two years after the supposedly last Destination Unknown tunes
have been released on T-FREE-3EP006, and one year after a lost
collabo has popped up on T-FREE-3EP019 ("Boulderdash"), yet
another lost, forgotten tune re-appeared on an old harddisc
of Dementia (formerly known as Insanity / Destination Unknown).
Judging by the sound, it's from the late Destination Unknown era,
produced shortly before or after "Mechanical Heroes" (T-FREE006).

SFS from Penza (Russia) is another unknown newcomer.
So far, he has only released a digital EP with 4 tunes on
Mind Outside Digital Recordings together with Stereotype,
and more of his tunes are forthcoming on other labels.

T-FREE048: Gravity Zero - "Where Is Here"

Gravity Zero are promising newcomers from Osaka, Japan.
They have just recently been discovered by the upcoming
Techno-DNB label Venom Inc and made their debut release
on the third outing of the Digital Venom sublabel with
the refreshingly uncompromosing tunes "Life / Minds Eye".
With "Where Is Here", they managed to use the Amen break
as a surprising interlude element before the second drop
in a Techno-DNB tune: next level irony, well done!

LSD aka LowSubDeep is a DJ and producer from Lodz in Poland
(the city that has already brought to the world
the mighty Mechaplex crew and DJ Structural).
He started producing music in 1995,
experimented with different music styles
like Happy Hardcore and "4x4 stuff"
(he still makes Breakbeat and Ambient),
discovered Drum & Bass in 1997 and
experimented with different styles in dnb
from Liquid Funk to Neurofunk,
then finally he came to Techno-DNB.
So far he has had no releases,
but he has interesting tunes to be signed...

Syneptic is a DJ and producer from Vienna (Austria) and a
member of the Shakehead crew who do what they are named like.
Besides keeping himself busy with Drum & Bass, he does produce
experimental Electro House under the pseudonyme "Bazuco".
He made his name heard in the Drum & Bass scene for the first
time when he won 3rd place in the famous Offkey remix competition
in 2007 with his (not released) remix of Raiden's "Alter Ego".
More remixes and collabos with Zubcore are in progress, and he has
released two tunes on the respected Hungarian netlabel "Black Hoe".

Lowfly and Cuzitich from St. Petersburg in Russia.
They have both been taking interest in Drum & Bass
for 8 years, but up to now they neither have had any

Valevo is a newcomer DJ and producer from Voronezh, Russia.
He focuses on fast-paced tunes with industrial athmosphere and
Techno influences, and besides Drum & Bass, he produces Techno.
So far, he has released two solo tunes and one collabo tune
with Oilygear (another Schranz & Bass newcomer from Russia)
on the "Techno For Uptech" LP on the Black Hoe netlabel.

You might or might not have noticed that the urls are slightly different from the rest of the urls in this thread...
This is due to an ongoing file system change on our server for the sake of enabling the implementation of podcasts (soon coming).
So, all the tunes are still available for free download, they are just stored in a different folder on the same server.
That is why all download links in this thread up to this post are broken...
