ich kann mich bei Techno-BPM-Zahlen auch nicht wohl fühlen... is halt so

na klar is geschmackssache..
aber zaach und liegestuhl-lounge musik geht anders als das was dubstep zur zeit mit den dancefloors dieser welt aufführt..
nur vermeintlich langsam, fühlbar aber auf 150 bpm oder nochmal das doppelte, mit vielen kleinen uplifting breaks, und trotzdem genug freiraum dass man die bassline auch wirklich spüren kann.. fast wie uk hardcore anno '91.

fühl mich momentan mit dubstep wies mir mit dnb vor ca. 8 jahren gegangen is.. und hat genau das feeling das mir seit jahren auf viel zu vielen dnb partys irgendwie gefehlt hat.

dubstep ist für mich neuer jungle.

dubstep wirkt auf dnbler deshalb langsam weil die breakz oft nur auf 80 bpm rennen - bei dnb sagen die drums dass du tanzen MUSST - bei dubstep sagen die synthies dass du tanzen solltest
diese spannung zu den synthies, die um die 140bpm (plus pitch klarerweise ) haben is der grund warum soviele verschiedene leute einen zugang finden und es dennoch so abgeht im club

leute wie caspa, ntype, rusko, skream etc haben im club null mit dem image zu tun was dubstep durch paar chiller releases hat

das witzige is ja dass auch die sogenannten "chilla" releases im club eine unglaubliche spannung aufbaun können, die viel eher zum bouncn als zum wegtrickern einladen.
ghost note feelin..

70/145bpm ftw..

dnb is heute einfach nur noch recht eindimensional auf 180 bpm fühl- und tanzbar, und lässt da recht wenig möglichkeiten offen..

ich hab nix gegen dubstep, aber für mich ists halt beim fortgehn ein bissl ermüdend...
und ja, das liegt einfach an 70bpm drums...

ich stell mir das z.b. extrem edel in einem kino vor,
das eine sehr sublastige anlage hat und visuals über die leinwand... (das würde dann auch ganz interessant mit surround delays kommen...)

@ andi resident...
ich weiss eh, dass die beats halftime von ca. 140 bpm gebastelt sind...aber für mich sind drums einfach die treibende kraft

aber das mit dem kino sollt sich wer mal durch den kopf gehn lassen,
da wär ich fix dabei!

es ist interessant, dass jetzt ausschließlich diese half-tempo sachen mit dubstep in verbindung gebracht werden. erinnert mich an mit the bug, wo er sagt:

"the formula seemed to be almost there". vielleicht ist es jetzt schon soweit. wenn das der fall ist, und wenn man bedenkt, dass jungle "the original bang" war, aus dem dnb entstanden ist, dann ist dubstep nicht "neuer jungle" sondern "neuer dnb".

lustig finde ich auch, dass sehr viele menschen dnb headz als gefahr für dubstep sehen
