nein, das hat damit nix zu tun!

es gibt viele die plattenspieler benutzen wollen, die benutzen dann halt dubplates ( ) oder final scratch...

...dann gibts diejenigen denen es egal ist, die benutzen, weils am billigsten ist cdrs um unreleaste tracks zu spielen und spielen releasten stuff von platte...

...und dann gibts die die nur mit cdjs auflegen...


das ganze hat dann aber eigentlich mehr mit dubplatebusiness als grundlegende drumandbass eigenheit zu tun als mit mp3 labels!

also konvergenz heisst in solchen bezügen eher verschmelzung, was du vielleicht meinst ist ein komplement?

und aus meiner sicht als hörer, der nicht auflegt: ich hör eigentlich nur mp3s, u.a. meine cds, ganz einfach weil ich zu faul bin, diese dauernd zu wechseln (oder gar vinly), und mich freuts auch nicht, für diverse medien extra in shops gehen zu müssen um dann erst wieder zu wissen, dass man vielleicht 90% des kaufpreises in handel und industrie zu buttert, von denen der artist nie was sieht.

dieses suchen, sammeln und wertschätzen mag vielleicht für andere ein hobby sein, für djs notwendig, mir ist es nur zuwider.

dafür hätte ich wiederum kein problem, für mp3s zu zahlen. hätte, weils so ein system derzeit noch nicht gibt, was ich bisher gesehen hab, ist primär spielerei , technisch untauglich oder abcashen..

zurück zum thema

aaalso ich finde mp3 labels sind an und für sich eine tolle sache.
gibt ja auch schon eine menge davon(spriessen ja förmlich aus dem boden)und ist eine möglichkeit für künstler ihren stuff unter die leute zu bringen. gibt ja im netz zig plattformen die upcoming artists anbieten ihre tunes upzuloaden und zu präsentieren.
also die tendenz geht ja voll in die richtung.
nur obs was kosten darf?!

das plattenverkäufe rückgängig sind klagen die label betreiber schon lange. das so ein grosser dnb vetrieb nun zusperrt unterstreicht das.

wie gut mp3 labes funktionieren ist halt die frage.
bin zwar voll dafür die artists zu supporten wenn einem die musik gefällt auf der anderen seite mats argument: wer zahlt schon, wenn er was gratis auch haben kann?
ich mein ich natürlich schon, aber wer noch?

und ja:
weil polarity geschrieben hat das medium ist egal, es geht ja nur um die mukke:
ich kauf mir schon gerne vinyl scheiben mit schönem cover, text usw..ist halt was ganz anderes als zig gbytes mp3s zu haben..
mp3 ist ein file, das man löscht wenns einem nicht mehr gefällt.
aber ein stück musik auf vinyl,hmm das hat schon was...

wie man's dreht und wendet, seit ich mich ein wenig mit final scratch beschäftigt habe finde ich keine wirklichen argumente gegen mp3 mehr. hätte ich auf meine sommerfrische nur einen laptop anstatt drei plattenkoffern durch den zug geschleppt, mein kreuz würde es mir danken

mp3 wiegt nichts, mp3 nimmt keinen platz weg, mp3 beginnt nicht zu hüpfen, mp3 ist nicht verbogen, mp3 ist absicherbar, mp3 ist spätestens mit 320 kbps von bester tonqualität, mp3 kostet nichts, mp3 ist leicht zu finden, mp3 ist immer und überall für jeden da.

ich hab's auch nicht geglaubt bis ich final scratch selbst ausprobiert habe - es ist vom handling NICHT DER GERINGSTE unterschied! von diesem standpunkt her würde ich eine weitere entwicklung des mp3-marktes (die's ohnehin schon gibt und weiter geben wird) begrüßen. und irgendwann hab ich auch genug geld für einen laptop

ansonsten: die idee mit mp3-labels find ich prinzipiell nicht schlecht, allerdings würde ich auch nichts dafür zahlen. aus bereits lang und breit durchargumentierten gründen. auf die gefahr hin allzu pathetisch zu klingen:

ich find, man sollte mp3s nicht immer gleich in einen topf mit "nichts zahlen" werfen.

mp3s kann man derzeit auch schon gratis haben, wer es nicht kann, hat sich lediglich nicht damit beschäftigt. es ist doch a bisserl unehrlich zu sagen "vinyl kauf ich gerne, aber mp3s will ich gratis."

zahlts ihr beim vinyl für den aufwand, den die industrie damit hat, oder für die musik und den artist, der das werk geschaffen hat? also mir gehts primär um die musik, den artist... aber das steht eh im vorigen posting
