wenn man z.b. 2 stunden spielt hat man viel mehr freiheiten, mehr struktur in den ganzen mix zu bekommen!
in 2 stunden kann man eine kleine reise durch das kleine drum and bass universum machen.

in 1 stunde wird das etwas knapp

also grad bei techno sind so lange sets üblich.

hawtin 2003 5h
2005 3h
väth jedesmal mindesten 4h wenn ich ihn gehört hab.

hell auch jedesmal zw 4-6 h

hinundwieder leidet da das mixing, aber bei so langen sets gehts mehr um den spannungsbogen und die selection.

Ich find es kommt ganz auf den Dj an ob ich mir den 2 Stunden anhören will, schon rein vom technischen Standpunkt her.
Oft bin ich froh dass das Gehoppel bei den Übergängen nach einer Stunde ein Ende hat!
Wenns aber wer technisch und Selection mäßig drauf hat hör ich mir den auch gerne 3 Stunden an!

übel ists nur wenn dir ein set gar nicht reingeht und dann dauerts 2 - 3 stunden .

aber sonst find ich längere sets auch besser (wobei das echt drauf ankommt - wer wie und wo !)

Und Laurent Garnier kommt ins FLEX am 23.03.2007 und spielt 6-7 stunde...und mixt auch D&B in sein sets rein...

definately worth going to this event me thinks
