boners is nämlich auch die bezeichnung für eine spezielle gag-variante, die im anglo-amerik. raum recht beliebt ist, man könnte auch sagen nerd-jokes. hence - boners für schräge bildwitze.

"a real boner" heißt nicht nur "a oaga ständer" sondern auch "so ein wappler, aber doch irgendwie auf rührend-hilflos-freakige weise komisch.

so, wieder mal genug kluggeschissen.
