soweit ich das verstandne hab ist splatter eine "unterkategorie" der horrorfilme.

hab ma eine doku gesehn über horrorfilme und da habens gmeint, dass so ende der 60er , anfang der 70er halt die orgen drogen kommen sind unter anderm auch PCP und die darauffolgenden Horrormeldungen in den Zeitungen , dass irgendwelche Leute nach einem PCP Rausch aufwachen und um sich herum lauter zerstückelte leichen finden bzw. sich selber Gliedmaßen abtrennen undso. das ist halt der stoff aus dem sich diese Horrorfilme gebildet haben wo explizites Gliedmaßenabtrennen vorkommt. Sind ja zur gleichen Zeit entstanden.
