methinks its about the good old art of DJing??? Na ?? gibts auch ein BPM zahl aufn ******* 1000 btw...very useful after a few beers

Vinyl Rules..nothing better than the snap,crackle and pop of Vinyl... und ganz nebenbei,the sleeve artwork, endlos rille, from back to front running rille
2 tunes pressed next to each other on a one track side,coloured Vinyl,Vinyl with Prints,7inch,10inch,square Vinyl,Hexagonal Vinyl,Spam Vinyl and,and,and...
Vinyl is Art and Music combined,so why not??
I,m not against lappy DJs , they just look lame looking @ their screens...nothing better than a panic-stricken DJ hunting through his plates for that one tune he actually forgot on his recordplayer at home

aaand,as far as I know,there is a sync on serato,final scratch,tractor..etal.. but I just use laptops for Pornos not Tunes

find ich leiwand dass ihr das alles ausschließt, ABER was is wenn einer sein competition set mit serato oder wtf alles macht und ihr das NICHT merkts, der gewinnt und legt dann den kompletten scheiss auf weil ers mit platten halt nicht kann?!?!?!?

Oder hörts ihr euch dann alles auf knackser und so an...

die diskussion um autosync ist spätestens seit der einführung von midi hinfällig

die ersten disco-dj's in den 70ern haben die platten zum synchronisieren auch noch selbst mitgedreht oder am plattentellerrand abgebremst um die geschwindigkeit anzugleichen, ich bin mir ziemlich sicher dass bei der markteinführung des 1210ers ähnliche diskussionen stattfanden ("das hat ja alles mit auflegen nix mehr zu tun", "das kann ja jeder")

wahrscheinlich auch davor schon, als bar-pianisten oder tanz-combos vom dj abgelöst wurden, die werden sich auch gedacht haben ein lied nach dem anderen von einem tonträger spielen kann ja jeder, wofür haben wir jahrelang unsere instrumente gelernt

so gesehen wär ich eigentlich dafür, auch turntables und cd-player zu verbieten, alle demos dürfen ausschließlich mit schlagzeug und bass aufgenommen werden

(edit: natürlich ohne metronom!!)

also bitte probiert mich zu überlisten .. ich sag nur eins ... ich zieh den Dj von der Bühne wenn er ned Mixen kann oder einen auf Mistabishi macht (aufgelegt )
