finds ehrlich gesagt schade, dass er gleich das ganze label in diese richtung bringen will!

Raiden Updates


Offkey MK2

Things are changing at Offkey. We believe we have taken the harder spectrum of 'techno dnb' as far as it can go, we had a mission to release the best of the genre by the best artists in the genre and we believed that we achieved this.
There are plenty of labels that have come up since we started this mission so the sound will be continued to be represented but we at Offkey have to move on, we as a label feel we would be cheating ourselves and you by not developing.
With that being said its onto OKmk2- we're going back the original blueprint- Big bass and big drums- of course the sound will still be techno influenced but this time it will be rattle your ribcage as well as your brain.

Look out for the new website which we will be announcing very soon!


Offkey Number 14

Lets kick this item off with some fantastic news...Hubble will now be coming on Offkey.
Yes that’s right-the monster is coming home! Hubble has gained fantastic support from Andy C, DieselBoy & Ed Rush and of course the OK crew – Hubble will be flipped with M82.
M82 is an unheard track from Raiden and is a fantastic example where the new OffKey sound may go- bass led bangers, very multi-layered percussive drums and amazing edits-Trademark Raiden.
So here we have the first offering from OKmk2- The boss and the Bass is in the hot seat once more.

Renegade Hardware

Raiden back on Hardware! After really carving out his own career Raiden is back to releasing on the label that really pushed him into the spotlight.
The tracks are La Luna and LHC, the tracks are Hardware to the bone- bass, drums and that unmistakeable Hardware attitude.
These tracks are the first of what should be a fantastic re-up from Hardware and Raiden, look out for a forthcoming various artist album from Hardware - You know what this means Wink.

Artwork, Identity & Website
We have been working with a brand new design team in order to cultivate a new identity for Offkey & the new label Voodoo Music. Raiden was introduced to OrtoKore Designs in Venezuela on his South American tour and was impressed with the company's work and commissioned them to develop the two labels art direction & website. Here are the new sleeves/record art.






Voodoo Music

Voodoo music is the new label from Offkey. In the last year Raiden has increasingly begun to explore his love for tribal & percussive based drum n bass.
It was this experimentation that led to collaborations with Khanage, Loxy, Rockwell & Morphy and the concept for Voodoo Music was born.
The debut release for the label is the long in demand tracks from Raiden entitled 'Baptism Of Fire' b/w 'Danzon'. Baptism Of Fire is a brooding track that thrives on holding a sense of cold tension whilst 'Danzon' is a latin inspired skank out that doesn't go down the trad-latin formula but instead concentrates highly on the rhythms of deep South American territory.
The second 12" will be another instalment from Raiden & Khanage's ongoing collaboration with 'Amnesia Haze' & '8798', two tracks that ignited the initial spark for the Voodoo Music project during a very late in the studio between the pair.
Expect the debut 12"/digital formats to available in March2010.

Renegade Hardware
Raiden ongoing relationship with one the biggest labels in the scene continues, the most recent releases available from Raiden on Hardware is the title track 'Aquarius' available on a various artist EP, after the remix of Inks classic track Mirage and La Luna/LHC. In the future expect 'Alpha Centauri' a big roller - classic Raiden material and further on the horizon is the album, a very exciting prospect for the artist and the label.
