Nasca Records is another Austrian label currently riding high on the current wave of hi-energy drum & bass that’s sweeping across the whole scene right now. For their fifth release label owners Body & Soul have locked horns with fellow countrymen Camo & Krooked and come up with something simply epic!

‘The Big Rush’ kicks off with huge rave atmospherics and a soaring 80’s-inspired synth that will have hands in the air as they wait for the beats to kick and show what’s in store. Building and building it’s not until the 1 m 30 sec mark that the holding gates are opened and the galloping bass and skipping breaks run free to release a truly original energy rush to get the crowd smiling. An absolutely essential slice of fresh D&B.

Going it alone on the flip are the Body & Soul boys who then treat us to an equally enjoyable ride of swing-beats and the heavy, bouncing bassline of ‘Brave New World’. Brash breaks and nods towards the electro-heads ensure this one keeps the fun-factor on max until the very end.
