Nachdem Stillstehen für die all souled out Jungs absolut nicht in Frage kommt, gibt’s ab Mai brandheisse News aus dem all souled out camp:
Gerade im letzten Jahr hat sich eine ganz neue Spielart von Drumandbass und elektronischer Clubmusik entwickelt – manche nennen es minimal Drumandbass, andere new IDM (Inteligent Dance Music) – im Endeffekt geht’s einfach darum, die Grenzen von D&B aufzuheben. Inspiriert von 80er Synths, Detroit und 90er Warp-Sounds kreieren die Protagonisten wie Lynx, Dbridge und Instra:mental mit Autonomic, Nonplus oder Exit, Lenzman, Skream und viele andere Tracks und Sets aus Drumandbass, Dubstep-Tunes und elektronischen Klanglandschaften.
Dieser Entwicklung soll Rechnung getragen werden und so wird am Freitag den 7. Mai UpD8e – presented by all souled out + cloud 9 - gelauncht.
Dieser neue Spinoff wird jeden 1. Freitag im Rahmen von all souled out im :roxy stattfinden und dazu dienen den newskool Drumandbass- und Dubstepsound zu pushen.

Drum n Bass hat lange auf einen Act gewartet, der Musikalität und Pulibkumserfolg kombinieren kann – und Lynx war das Warten wert.
