In poland everyone (or nearly)has their own still (Vodka making maschine)
Like in the good old days of the Prohibition in the US of A
I was unfortunate enough to get drunk on the stuff,which has 70% proof and has to be mixed with Himbeer syrupo to make it ertraglich.....
Its quite tasty but you need a kranken wagen afterwards
And believe me everyone drinks this stuff like water there
I still have a bottle at home so if anyone wants to enjoy the true Polish spirit PM me!!!!!
The Buffal gras vodka is also highly recomendable
Oh and if you ever happen to stop off in a polish Rast station dont be suprised about the Auswahl from High octane Vodkas in the regale....

Also recommended...Potato Vodka....Taste is very different compared to the typical Grain Vodka and it comes in a mighty 2 litre party Flasche Also seen at a TankStelle in Poland

And you can also get vodka pure in a CAN (dose)

In Slovenia I saw energy Drinks designed as Hand Grenades!!!

Didnt taste it though,was to shocked by the idea

polnischer Wodka

...ein Freund (gebürtiger Pole) brachte mal eine Bottle selbstgemachten Pfefferminz-Wodka/Schnaps aus seiner Heimat mit... wird mit Spiritus(konnt ich nicht ganz glauben - der is ja giftig? denk es war eher Weingeist o something) und Pfefferminzteesackerln sowie massenweise Zucker angesetzt... er meinte das würden viele Leutz dort trinken... is schee billig... jedenfalls

Also in Poland...Funny hole in the wall shops open all night
no doors just a window...They sell Ciggies,Munchies and Vodka...
When I went there for supplies at 5 in the morning there was a que of 10 peeps stocking up on Vodka and a police car with Police happily watching the show smoking cigarettes and letting drunken polish people play with their police dog
The drunken people get in their car drive away and the police just carry on watching the shop and letting people play with their dog..........................
It was very very funny (my condition helped a lot) and the dog was very friendly

Absolut richtig, meine sister war 8 monate in krakau und ihre leudz dort ham immer den ALLERALLERBESTEN wudka aus ihren heimatdörfern zum einwerfen angezaaht, bei einem besuch durfte ich da mal mitfeiern und mit erstaunen hab ich festgestellt, daß ma von dem zeug irgendwann sogar wieder nüchtern wird, wenn man nur immer fest über die vollfettn drüberbürstelt. absolut lecker! fliederwudka oder eben so ein büffelwudka sind einfach ein erlebnis, die flaschen die sie mitgebracht hat waren immer nach ein paar stunden weg, kann man auch in die frühstücks-cornflakes geben, statt milch.

well - kaliningrad was a bit like that too, people there drive like they own the street and NOBODY cares, police all around and they dont give a shit. I think I screamed FUCK and OH MY GOD every 30 seconds on the first ride the driver did hardly speak any english and all he said was "Yeah, Russian Style!!"

had so many different brands of vodka tho that I cant remember anymore WHAT I drank =) bought a bottle of polish bueffelgradvodka in the duty free in warszaw (2.50 euros or so) and will bring that with me on the 17th to the massiv hehehhe
