Schematic - Various - Switch EP [Blu Saphir 026]

The last time we saw Schematic on Blu Saphir Recordings was last year in December. Much more accomplished, the Schematic Sound Studio runned by his own as a Mastering Engineer he has succeeded with releases on Machinist, Aphelion, All Street, Such Music and Melting Pot. A: SWITCH
Schematic's four track EP, Switch begins with a barrage of intensifying beats on the title track. Squelchy bass hits the backdrop alongside a sharp-edged vocal to land the break. As the track progresses. Switch alternates between liquid rollage and hard tech.

B: AWAY FROM ME
A passionate male vocal surfs on airy, melodic pads as the track sways majestically. As the break rolls through, piano keys reverberate while pulsating pads emphasize the vocal once more. Given the effect of a track slowing down, the drums pulse in again to pick up the speed.

C: ROLL WITH IT
Moving into the second half of the EP, Roll With It brings an anthem-style vibe with it, laced with an infectious vocal atop rough neuro bass and forward-driven breakbeats.

D: YOUR LOVE
The final track, Your Love brings all of the elements of a quality dancefloor groove -- chill vibes, melodic synths and pads, switch-ups, a soulful female vocal, subtle neuro squelches, strategically placed filters, groove-driven drops and a beautiful arrangement.
