Das ist auch eine von den live geschichten.
das sample wurde in kairo, mit dem powerbookmikro zum fernseher hin, aufgenommen. die streicher waren jeden freitag vor dem hauptgebet der moslems um 13:00 im fernsehn zu hören.

irgendwann hab ich mal dran gedacht und sie aufgenommen und vor paar monaten wieder gefunden und gleich eingesetzt :d

eh,...

klingt eh ganz nett!

aber was mich ein bissl stört, ist der effekt auf den hihats!
der klingt prinzipiell ja ganz nett, aber imo sollte man die drums möglichst "natural" lassen,
d.h. keine extremen modulationseffekte während des hauptteils,
ausser vielleicht bei breakz...

aber damit will ich keinesfalls sagen, dass es crap ist...

es ist nur so, dass dadurch ein bissl der drive verloren geht, bzw. könnt ma an den drums noch ein bissl was machen!

sonst witziges sample!

also die samples sind gut eingesetzt, mmn. könnte man v.a. die drums noch um einiges "natürlicher" klingen lassen. die bässe sind mir persönlich auch a bisl zu "synthie"-mäßig, das is aber geschmackssache...
also was man echt mal probieren sollt: die ganzen live-instrumente die so im studio stehen auch bei d&b-tracks einsetzen! ergibt mmn. ein viel homogeneres klangbild.

es wird echt zeit dass i wieder mal vorbeischau bei euch!

der anfangsbeat der bis zum ende gleich bleibt klingt ein wenig dünn - snare is relativ platt - klingt nach rebirth sounds ... der bass is irgendwie halb wobble halb neuro - verändert sich nicht wirklich viel.
das arabische sample is imo zu stark geflangert und kommt net richtig zur geltung ... die stabs in folge klingen lustig nach gameboy sounds
