set looks heavy too, loads of fresh tunes


seems to be the dubplate-don of japan

I am just in loooove with the Makoto set! but him and AKira's sets are always solid n smoooooth

Aki is indeed the Dubplate don of Japan (For liquid funk dubs, the dons would of course be the brother duo of Makoto-kun and Akira-kun!)

his selection is not always my thing, but he always mixes pretty tight and fast and interestingly..
Last time I was in Japan, I saw him and Roni Size both do 3 hour sets and i gotta say, i was not at all impressed with Roni (loadsa clanging, plus somehow only playing full cycle, dope dragon, etc, etc ) but Aki went from Butterfly to Ed rush Optical to teebee to Sonic... diverse indeed! totally loved his set, (which was great before the whole of TOkyo seemed to appear at the club once ROni came on... )

Makoto was playing in roxy last friday or so for all souled out. (on his way back from Aerodrome festival)


As for AKi, who knows, eh? , he gets booked for Movement@Bar rumba and Skolbeats@Brasil and such so why not wien??
