>MIX< - Wildchild & MC Eksman - DOA
WILDCHILD
2004 has been a groundbreaking year for Wildchild. In April she decided to make the move from 9 - 5 employment to being a full time DJ, with her own label - Wildstyle Recordings - and her own productions. Although at times over the past few months things have seemed a bit sticky, the hard work is most definitely starting to pay off. Wildstyle is becoming an eagerly anticipated label, now on its 6th release and Wilchild's bookings are steadily increasing all over, the culmination of which sees her touring Australia with Andy C and Shimon and GQ this New Year's Eve!!
This 1 an a bit hours mix gives a cross section of what is in Wildchild's record bag today.. As well as the requisite upfront dubplates that have been doing the rounds, plus a couple of classics thrown in for good measure, there are some hot exclusives including... Spor's 'Outspoken' forthcoming on Hardware, Wildchild & Skitty's new collaboration, yet to be named but forthcoming on the new Wildchild EP early next year, Distorted Minds 'We Can't Stop' feat Eksman, and Skibba's new tune remixed by Drumsound & Bassline Smith…. Definitely a hot selection!

Voted 'Best Breakthrough MC' at this year's Knowledge awards, 'Best Newcomer MC' at this year's Accelerated Culture awards, the present is pretty bright and the future is only gonna get brighter for Eks.
"This is my first mix for DogsOnAcid and i'm really pleased it's with Wildchild. We've played out together a few times recently and she's totally smashed it. Because im known as a roll out MC and also cause the mix was for the DOA massive I thought I'd drop it a little different on this mix hosting through showing some versatility, letting the beats and bass roll out. Hope you enjoy it. Big up the DOA massive. Respect"
