Cube, label head of the diverse drum and bass netlabel Exegene and the a&r/release manager got into drum and bass pretty late, but caught up on history and now is actively involved in the promotion of new talent as well as artists, who have release under their belt, but aren't as promoted as much as they should be. He started Exegene in 2004 with Auan, with releases from some unheard talent. As the year progressed more familiar names joined the Exegene ranks such as Alpha Omega, Macc, Temulent & Dissident. Auan then went on to do personal things, leaving Cube to run Exegene solely. Subvert Central's Digital label noticed the work he did for Exegene and asked him to help kickstart them, as the label had shutdown for over a year. Shortly SC:Digital put out a release from Macc and have stuff coming from Dissident, Latent Notion, and more. Exegene still continues to release quality drum and bass in 256k mp3 and will do so for as long as there is unheard talent out there.
