Dog's Bollocks alle zwei wochen?

Tja da meister D.KAY Gmeint hat es wäre cool wenn es alle zwei wochen ein Dog's Bollocks geben würde bzw. man dafür eine Pediton an FM4 schicken soll wollte ich mal fragen was ihr davon haltet???????????

na dass es dafür hier eine breite zustimmung gibt, steht wohl ausser frage..

die diskussion ist ya nicht neu, hat aber immer darin geendet, dass mehr dogs bollocks anderen sparten im rahmen von la boum deluxe das wasser abgraben würde..

..ich persönlich hätte damit kein grossez problem


aber vertreter anderer spartenprogramme vielleicht..
wobei ich angesichtz der momentanen grösse und dynamik der dnb szene auch dafür plädieren würde, den verantwortlichen zumindest mal grosszügig ihre mailbox zu füllen

Hmmmm,dont want to draw this discussion out once more

Its quite simple...La Boum De Lux is a Music platform inside of FM4...Its purpose,Promoting and enjoying/sharing Electronic Music

Dogs Bollocks is a Music Platform inside the Platform whos Purpose is to promote,and here is where it might get difficult

Breakbeats/Electro/Experimental/Groove and D&B

D&B itself is promoted perfectly well within the LaBoum Platform

See Patife coming soon/or Aphrodite and and and,just check the homepage of FM4 for relevent La Boum info...

Breakbeats on the other hand are not so well covered by La Boum...with only Dj Hatcha coming into LaBoum in the past few months...Therefore Dogs Bollocks exsists to promote the form of Electronic music Known as BreakBeat...Nothing more nothing less

So it would be pointless to have a Dogs Bollocks twice a month in the sin of D&B because Dogs Bollocks doesnt just represent D&B music and so 2 weeks Breaks&D&B would mean a loss to the rest of the electronic music community,of one week..

And that would,in consequence,annoy a lot of people

I think La Boum as a concept is very strong and doesnt need changing for the moment...
And As Dogs Bollocks Chief Trainer,once a month is quite enough Thankyou..........let time tell and see what develops

easy one: D.Kay: responsible for the D&B side of things from 21.30 until 00.00

Slack Hippy&Alive.responsible for the programm from 00.00-04.00...................


easy as that really...Or do some people really think that the Dogs Bollocks is a D&B only show oda was??

Angeblich wird ja auch ausserhalb von Dog's Bollocks Drum&Bass bei La Boum Deluxe gespielt. Panacea & Aphrodite fallen mir auf die Schnelle ein.
Eigentlich find ich einmal im Monat ganz in Ordnung, alle 14 Tage gute Inhalte zu haben ist sicher nicht so einfach.

hmm

bin auch für mehr dnb und breakbeats auf FM4, allerdings reicht der Rahmen von LaBoum dafür nicht mehr aus

bin eher dafür eine der 20-22 uhr sendungen zu opfernoder von 0-2 oder soetwas

allerdings wär ich auch stark dafür radio oarnge österreichweit verfügbar zu machen und die rasselbande umzuverschieben

My advice,Buy a bus,fill it full of radio Transmitters etc etc

Travel around Ö and make a D&B.at Pirate radio

Much easier than taking away music&programms from listeners who do not like D&B....

...there s a weekly 2 hour show for hip hop, there s TWO weekly 2 hour shows for downbeats and some house at high spirits and silly solid swound, plus 2 hours gilles peterson a week...

...techno, house and electro have 3 full fridays a week...

...and drumandbass has 2 hours a month - while everybody (just had a conversation bout this with some big hiphop and elektro-techno djs) keeps tellin me that the drumandbass scene ist the biggest and healthiest in vienna and austria...

...so i think it s not unjustified if this community asks for more of their music!

is the drumandbass community - the biggest underground scene in austria irrelevant???


i think one time dogs bollocks a month is enuff but there definitely could be a second spot for drumandbass in what form or shape ever!

sam, i think the main problem is that d.kay's show only features mainstream dnb. so 2 hrs a month are more than enough for me

dnb doesn't consist solely of pendulum & 2db!

I don,t believe that D&B is the biggest underground scene
Its very healthy,but so is Tech/house/breaks etc etc

At least that was the impression I got from the clubs I have visited in Ö in the last year

That there is less D&B on the radio is true although La Boum does invite a lot of D&B artists on to the show outside of Dogs Bollocks.....
The problem is,where do these extra 2/3 hours a month come from??
Is it worthwhile in regards to new releases??Or would you just hear 75% of the same from 2 weeks b4

Where do you make place for a D&B programm??
Who would lose their job/hours to make room for more D&B

I understand that the cry for more D&B is justified but is it possible to do without hurting other people and in turn hurting the scene itself??

You have to see beyond the request for more D&B on FM4 and try and see what that would do to everyone who doesnt have anything to do with D&B....

It would seem to a lot of people who arent registered D&B.at users as overkill...and in my opinion bring more harm than good..

Be it as it may Dogs Bollocks bleibt by once a month

and the possibility of D&B getting 2 extra hours on FM4 is really an impossibility cos of wot I said above...

Thats just my opinion,thers no harm in asking of course but??

La Boum CHEAP night out 1 week
La Boum Dogs Bollocks 1 week

What should be taken away to make more place for D&B??

1 La Boum??That would make me unhappy or Abraxas or SEB cos then we can,t present the new records that we found
and less international artists have place to promote themselves.

Dogs Bollocks??Where is there place??we already changed it so that D&B gets more maintime than b4 and that puts me on at Midnight...Concessions made by me already and I totally support that



But as you see it isnt easy...the rest of the week is taken by people you already mentioned and well that leaves maybe SLEEPLESS from 01.00-06.00 where young up&coming moderators and DJs get to their thing for the coming future
There is maybe a chance,but is it worth it???
Would people listen?Would the Gestalter be prepared to do it for pratically no money and muchos preparation??

Naja,I can see the reason why you all would like to have more D&B but I just can,t see where it could be done without offending other talented Mods/musicians/programms

alle 2 wochen?? voll nicht!

es reicht 1 mal im monat. Obwohl es fast immer sau geil ist und ichs tag und nacht hören könnte, aber wenns zu oft kommt verliert es vl den flair und sie spielen auch etwas zachere sachen. jedes monat, da kommt viel gutes zusammen und das passt.

und überhaupt ist das normal LBD meist fein genug und dann am ende des monats kommt der showdown.

warum sollte man das ändern...
